The Homewood Suites by Hilton Wilmington – Brandywine Valley offers families 113 suites with king and double beds, fully equipped kitchens, flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. The largest suite can sleep up to six guests. Complimentary cribs are available upon request.

The hotel has a pool and is close to hiking trails. Local attractions to explore include the Winterhur Museum, Garden & Library, the Hagley Museum and Library and Penns Woods Winery. First State National Historical Park is nearby, as well.

Enjoy a complimentary breakfast each morning at the hotel, and a complimentary evening Wind Down social with snacks and drinks, Monday through Thursday. For lunch or dinner, visit a nearby restaurant like Applebees, Olive Garden or Red Lobster.

Additional perks at this property include coin-laundry facilities, a fitness room, a business center, babysitting services (local recommendations) and free parking. Check-in is at 3 p.m. and check-out is at noon.

Annual return to a welcoming property

For perhaps over twenty years, since my mother first recommended the Homewood Suites, Brandywine, Delaware, we have returned annually and have enjoyed our stay. Recent renovations and the traditional warmth mix providing business, family, or other leisure stays with comfort and convenience.

Great location, as the hotel is off the street (202) and close to a wood/park area. Easy parking. Spacious rooms. Breakfast, small dinner (four days a week) and WLAN included. Restaurants, shops, mall close to the close. Onsite gym.
