This quiet, peaceful hotel is surrounded by nature, with plenty of walking trails and a beach nearby. The accommodations are solidly average: good for families on a budget but not for those seeking luxury. Children under 3 stay for free, and to accommodate families of all sizes, rooms may be connected (or you can request an additional bed per room).

At the restaurant/bar, you can dine on “fusion” Creole cuisine–mostly seafood, with a few meat and poultry dishes. The rooms are only equipped with refrigerators and microwaves, so be prepared to take the family out for most meals. For breakfast, opt for the hotel buffet or the continental breakfast with room service (at an extra charge, discounted rates for children).

The Amazing Petite Anse Macabou

I will write about the beautiful beach at Petite Anse Macabou.

When we parked, we had a lot of writing about this beach.

We headed to the beach.

I loved that beach immediately.

The sand looked almost white.

There were lots of palm trees, perfect for shade.

The ocean was calm and we could swim with no problems.

There ere some small mountains as well and boulders nearby as well.

We had fun here. This is a fantastic beach. Wow!

I spent only one night at Cap Macabou before leaving Martinique. I booked this hotel because it is very close to Le Marin. The rooms are a bit too rustic for me but very clean. The pillows were not too comfy but for one night it wasn’t a big deal. We had dinner at the hotel, the food was acceptable. The staff instead was great, trying to help and make you feel really good. The beach is not maintained but it did not bother me as it was a short stay.
