We enjoyed our stay here, the staff were friendly & it was in a good location. The rooms were very clean & tidy although the bed & pillows were hard as a rock leaving us both with a sore back. Close walk to train station etc

After the initial disappointment of a very small room on arrival, the location of the hotel, the exceptional service and a great breakfast offering far exceeded our expectations during our 9 day stay. Situated within walking distance of the very busy Shinjuku railway station (from which the Narita Express can easily be caught to or from Narita Airport), the hotel can be found by exiting the Central East exit and asking anyone for “Hotel Godzilla”. A clean bathroom with separate toilet and large wash basin facility more than made up for the size of the bedroom
The free use of the “Handy” mobile hot-spot device allowed us strong and valuable access to wi-fi throughout our stay and across Japan.....a far more useful and easier mobile capability than acquiring a local SIM card. Much appreciated.
Good restaurants (local variety of all kinds or good Italian/Indian for variety) can be found at street level or on entrance to the hotel through an arcade.
While seemingly in a “red light” district, this was never an issue.
English/Irish pubs are in close proximity for a few beers with supporters. Never felt insecure...
