Overlooking the Black Warrior River, this hotel has some beautiful views. Guests can enjoy a great meal at the onsite restaurant before getting a loaned bike from the hotel to cruise down the Tuscaloosa Riverwalk. Families will love to rent a kayak or paddleboat to float down the river themselves. History-loving family can learn about local Native American history at the Moundville Archaeological Site and Museum. Young children will enjoy the Children’s Hands-On Museum while older kids may want to take the Haunted Tuscaloosa Tour at night. Beautifully designed guestrooms and suites can accommodate up to four guests.

I stayed at the Hotel Indigo in Tuscaloosa in April 2019. One of the nights was the opening night of their rooftop bar. The music was extremely loud and went on to early hours in the morning. I asked to be moved , but was told it would stop soon. It stopped at 4 am . At 7:30 am a Mariaci band started practicing in the park outside my window.. I asked to be moved for the 2nd night, if not to another room then to another hotel. I received no feedback from the manager(s). The front desk clerks told me the manager(s) were off site and would get back to me. NOTHING

Loved this hotel and it’s location. On the river, roof top bar, great staff, wonderful coffee house next door and close to downtown. Stayed here for game day and college visit. Wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Amphitheater in walking distance.
