The Hotel Italia boasts a central location minutes away from Pino Park. Guests will be able to walk to the city’s most popular attractions including the Main Square Plaza De Armas and the iconic cathedral. Guestrooms at the hotel are cozy and can accommodate two guests. All rooms at the Hotel Italia feature private bathrooms, internet access and heating. While there is no onsite restaurant at the hotel, guests can choose from an endless supply of dining options in the surrounding neighborhood. The 24-hour front desk will be happy to arrange excursions to Lake Titicaca for guests. Fishing, boat tours and windsurfing lessons all come highly recommended.

Cold and noisy

The hotel was cold with no heating. Ate breakfast with our coats on and there was one small heater for our room which didn’t heat it up. The water in the shower took 15minutes to get luke warm so we found it difficult to get warm. The walls are thin so take ear plugs with you!
On the plus they make eggs for you for breakfast upon request!

Poor hotel - no wifi and cold water only

I didn’t enjoy my stay here. The rooms were very basic and it was very cold. The beds weren’t comfortable and the pillows were like rocks. While the hotel staff said there was WiFi, it doesn’t work. Also the shower water was freezing cold, and no hot water was available. Overall, an unpleasant experience.
