The Hotel Patio Andaluz is a classically decorated boutique hotel just steps away from Quito’s Independence Plaza, a popular tourist attraction and monument to the heroes who fought for Ecuador’s independence from Spain. The hotel’s beautifully furnished colonial suites sleep two adults and two children. The famed El RincÃ³n de CantuÃ±a restaurant specializes in Spanish delicacies. Families will enjoy exploring the many historical temples and plazas surrounding the hotel. The nearby Granilandia Water Park provides fun for all ages and is the perfect place to cool off on warm Ecuadorian afternoons. Adrenaline junkies should head to Vulqano Park amusement park.

My second time after 12 years

I stayed at Hotel Patio Anduluz in 2007 and had such fond memories I returned for one night while going through Quito. It was just as lovely as I remembered it was. The rooms are so nice, yet authentic. The showers are nice and hot and pressure is great. The location is wonderful for walking around to see the sights in the Old Town of Quito. We felt very safe too.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel exudes quiet and charm with a super friendly staff. Our room on the 4th floor (no elevator) had large windows with a magnificent view of Quito. The location is superb, 200 m from Independence Square. Breakfast and dinner are served in a courtyard style elegant restaurant with excellent Ecuadorian dishes and live music in the evening. We very much enjoyed our stay.
