Rooms at Hotel Neptun, of which there are 137, are decorated in a hue of creams and browns with pops of color found in lime green pillows and bedding. Unfortunately, the rooms here are not meant for big families, and instead, this hotel works best for families with older children who can enjoy their own adjacent room. Guests may select from single rooms with just one bed, small double rooms with barely room for anything but the double bed, to larger double beds growing bigger in size by category, but not in bed numbers. The largest rooms are Suites, which can accommodate a family of four with a private bedroom and a living area with a sleeper sofa.
The hotel is a city hotel, meaning guests won't find much to do at Hotel Neptun. It is meant to provide a cozy and warm place to retire after a day of sightseeing, and its location near colorful Nyhavn, as well as within blocks of Tivoli, make it a comfortable option for families looking to enjoy the city of Copenhagen. Bike rentals are available.
Breakfast is offered daily in the hotel's rooftop terrace and is a traditional Scandinavian buffet. During warm weather months, the terrace features a sundeck to enjoy.
Breakfast is not included with the room rate, but guests may find room and breakfast combination packages available when booking.

Complimentary coffee and tea are offered throughout the day, and newspapers are offered during the week, at no charge.
The Art of Smart Timing
Copenhagen is most popular during its summer months, when daylight stretches more than half the day and mild temps are in the 60s. During the winter months, the city doesn't get much snow, but it's near freezing temperatures and longer days of darkness make it less popular for tourists and better deals may be found.
Hotel Neptun is located near Nyhavn and is just a 15-minute taxi ride from Copenhagen's international airport.
Bicycle rentals are available at the hotel, and the city of Copenhagen is known for having more bicycles than cars. (It's the top method of transportation in the city and all of Denmark!) Utilize the many bike lanes and public parks and rent a bike to truly understand Copenhagen and get around during your visit.
For Mom and Dad
A small lounge and bar becomes packed with people in the evening hours, with travelers interested and eager in speaking with other travelers at the hotel. Grab a drink or a glass of wine and mingle with your neighbors.
