Hotel Viking offers families 209 guestrooms and suites in a historic building in the heart of Newport. King or queen beds are available, plus sofa beds, mini-fridges, flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. Kids also receive Viking coloring books with unlimited crayons upon arrival. Rollaway beds and cribs can be requested (fees may apply).

It is open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The Top of Newport Bar is the hotel’s seasonal spot, open Memorial Day through Labor Day, with snacks and signature drinks on offer, plus live music at night on the weekend. Room service is also available.
