With its newly-renovated rooms, this modern hotel is located in the mid-Hudson Valley, convenient to Interstate 84 and cultural, historic and natural attractions such as SplashDown Beach Water Park, the Hudson Valley Renegades baseball stadium and the Walkway Over the Hudson. It’s less than a 30-minute drive to local colleges, including Vassar, Marist and the Culinary Institute of America.

This pet-friendly hotel is ideal for extended stays, and it’s the only one in the area with two-bedroom suites – with enough space for larger families. The suites all have a fully-stocked kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, stove, and a set of utensils, dishes, and glasses.

HYATT House guests get complimentary daily breakfast and free Wi-Fi. Property amenities include a heated indoor pool and whirlpool, fitness center, coin-operated guest laundry and a market for snacks and travel essentials. The H Bar off the lobby features a Sip+Savor Menu with small plates.

Great place, would stay again.

Everything was great except the sofabed was not at all comfortable. It is a Great location and shopping across the street along with with restaurants. Only about a little over an hour to New Yourk City.

Mixed bag

I stayed here four years ago and was really impressed, which is why I booked here again. So I was really shocked at how much it's gone downhill. Lobby and breakfast area look OK, but our room was really shabby and clearly due for refurbishing. There was water damage and mildew around the tub and housekeeping had overlooked a couple things in cleaning (used glasses on windowsill). But overall the room was basically clean, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was excellent. Bottom line: a good hotel in need of some TLC.
