Hyatt Place Ft. Lauderdale 17th Street Convention Center is a nice property for families with children to stay. The hotel is perfect if you’re visiting the Intracoastal Waterway, Fort Lauderdale Antique Car Museum and Bonnet House Museum and Gardens. A few other attractions include the Fort Lauderdale Beachfront and Las Olas Boulevard. This 3-star hotel has 136 suites, it also has a fitness center, nearby golf course, tennis courts and swimming pool. Hyatt Place Ft. Lauderdale dining options include onsite restaurant and free continental breakfast. Jaxson’s Ice Cream Parlor, Sushi Rock and Tom Jenkins’ Bar-B-Q are all family-friendly restaurants that are good and are near the hotel.

Great pre cruise hotel

Close to Ft Lauderdale Airport and cruise port with hotel shuttle to both.cruise shuttle $7/person.
Nice adequate room, great staff and service as well. Shower with excellent water pressure, comfortable beds and quiet. Walkable shopping center close by with many restaurants and publix grocery store.
Definitely stay here again if cruising out of Ft. Lauderdale.

After a long day of travel, it was so nice to walk into the hotel and be greeted by James who was so friendly and took care of me right away. Even though I was there for just a short time my experience was great.
