Formerly the Peabody Orlando, this 1,641-room resort is popular with conventioneers, but it has plenty to offer families, too. In addition to a three-acre pool complex featuring a kid-friendly zero-entry Grotto pool, the hotel offers activities for children and is close to Walt Disney World attractions.

Accommodations range from luxurious standard guest rooms to a 2,000-square-foot Penthouse Suite. Club Level accommodations include complimentary valet parking, along with use of an exclusive lounge offering daily continental breakfast, snacks and beverages. Shuttle service to Walt Disney World theme parks is available, too.

"Off Visit" to an Excellent Convention Hotel

This hotel has everything that a convention attendee is looking for. Great food choices.

During my stay, I encountered significant housekeeping problems. Management made a gracious response and was at the top of its game.

This is a high rise hotel, with good views of the surronding area. My room was spacious and tastefully appointed.

I would stay here again.

Excellent stay

Everything was top notch, the room, staff, cleanliness... Would definitely go back!
The only negative, was that they were cleaning / resurfacing their grotto pools. I had hoped to spend some time relaxing there. However, their other pool was open and was a nice spot as well.
