For families who prefer intimacy and charm, the Inn on Siesta Key delivers. Its main cottage was built in 1936 and still has original hardwood floors, a rock fireplace, and pecky cypress paneling. It sleeps up to seven in three rooms, plus a full kitchen with a dining table and patio. The other five individually decorated units also have full kitchens; two accommodate up to four, the rest only two. Décor reflects the inn’s beachy location and old island-style. Lush, tropical vegetation surrounds the small pool.
The inn lies steps away from the main Siesta Key Beach access, and also within walking distance of Siesta Village’s shops and restaurants.

We stayed at The Inn for a week in mid September. We absolutely loved our time here. We arrived as a late check in having driven from Orlando & had a lovely note left for us which directed us to our unit, The Lookout. Keys were in the apartment along with a welcome pack of goodies. Everything we could possibly want was inside, from kitchen utensils through to towels, all kinds of household amenities & lots of information about the Inn & surrounding area. The following morning we met two of our lovely hosts, Paige and Eve who were so friendly & helpful, giving us lots of useful information including a trip to Myakka State Park where we spotted alligators! We were told that if there was anything we needed during our stay to ask. The pool area is lovely, clean & ideal for a spot of relaxation after a hard day sunbathing on beautiful Siesta Key beach. Beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers & toys are available for guests to use. The beach is opposite The Inn, accessed through number 9 walkway. It takes ten minutes to get onto the beach, its a lovely walk through grassland & we even spotted an osprey. The beach itself is magical, never more than a handful of people on it & it was like being on a desert island! The seawater was so warm and crystal clear. We felt totally relaxed & enjoyed watching the seabirds. Siesta Village has something for everyone, live music to shopping & ice cream! We met Gabe on our last day, three lovely hosts in a truly fabulous Inn. You must stay here.
