Great dining experience

Booked the room via the Dan Online booking service.
On arrival all details were found and we were shown to the room and given an outline of the various amenities. The room itself was a little small with a decent view over modern Jerusalem. The bathroom had a separate shower, which was great. Also the contents of the mini bar are included in the rate( two bottles of water, a coke and two juices), not much to get excited about. The foyer was amazing and the bar looked cosy. It's an easy walk to the Jaffa Gate and if you choose to you can walk through the shopping mall on the way. Also the tram seems to run fairly close from the old city.
Breakfast was a joy, so much to choose from and excellent service from the staff. Check out the next morning was simple and no surprises. Stayed here due to the history attached to the hotel.

Delicious light meal

We sat in the coffee shop expecting to drink just a cup of coffee and ended up ordering pasta with tomato sauce and mushroom focacha. Both were delicious and went well with the coffee instead of sweets. The service was pleasant and efficient and we could sit and chat with my cousin from London without being disturbed.
