Newly renovated, the La Quinta Inn & Suites Gallup is a non-smoking hotel located on historic Route 66. This three-story hotel has 67 guestrooms, including 15 suites, outfitted with either a king bed or two double pillow-top beds, free Wi-Fi access, a microwave, a refrigerator, a flat-screen TV, a coffee maker, a hairdryer, and an iron and ironing board. Every morning, guests can enjoy the hotel’s free Bright Side Breakfast just off the lobby. For additional meals, hotel guests can receive a 10-percent discount at Denny’s Restaurant located next to the hotel. Other hotel amenities include an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool, a fitness center, a steam room, an outdoor patio, and guest laundry facilities. Plus, pets are welcome per the hotel’s “Pets Stay Free” policy, although some restrictions may apply.

Hotel was clean and right off the 40. Free Parking. Although we did not have a pet, we noticed several dogs on our 2nd floor. There were also a couple of restaurants next door (Denny’s & Dickey’s BBQ).

Very Good Stay.

Stayed here overnight as returning from a trip back east to California. Easy reservations online. Fast, professional check-in, outside parking area large and clean. Noted several fast food restaurants within walking distance which could be a plus after a long drive day.
Check in fast and professional, lobby/breakfast area adjacent appeared clean as well. Noted that during our stay place was full as there was a youth football tournament in area...pool/hot tub area full of kids and would not have been able to enjoy either during the stay.
Room was large and well appointed, very clean and surprisingly quiet (we were on third floor). Bed and pillows were also very comfortable.
As we left very early we were unable to partake of the provided free breakfast so unable to comment. Check out was also fast. Would stay here again.
