Good location, good value

I chose this hotel for the location, close to the airport and the Mall of America. The area around the hotel was quiet and felt safe.

The shuttle service to the airport was great, I reserved the day before and the shuttle driver checked for my name before leaving right on time.

My room was on the 17th floor, fairly quiet with a nice view of the city. The microwave and fridge were great. The bed was comfortable, heat and AC worked great. You can't open the windows but running the fan seemed to keep the air fresh in the room.

The shuttle to the Mall of America only runs a few times a day. I took Uber to get around and it was reasonable and convenient.

Not the same La Quinta anymore :( Wyndham raised prices and lowered quality.

We've stayed at La Quinta's for many years. Ever since Wyndham took over, the quality of customer service, food, room cleanliness has gone down hill. Will sadly be searching for a different hotel chain to use for our many trips.
