The beachfront Laguna Beach House (formerly Laguna Cliffs Inn) is close to downtown Laguna Beach and recently received a $1.5-million renovation. With an open and airy beach feel, the 36 guestrooms feature a laidback California vibe that’s perfect for families. Choose from a coastal view or pool level room, both with relaxing views and ocean breezes. Rooms come with queen or king beds, complimentary Wi-Fi, coffeemakers and flat-screen TVs; some have balconies. The dog-friendly property has a heated pool and an open courtyard for sunning, and it offers beach chairs and umbrellas. A nightly wine reception with cookies and milk takes place in the lobby.

You can walk to everything! Pool was nice especially the fire pit in the evenings! It’s nice that they offer wine at sunset. I booked a block of rooms here in August for my daughters wedding. Our guests loved the quaintness of the hotel. They enjoyed the amenities like the hot tub, pool and happy hour.

Laguna beach house

This hotel is an excellent location - walking distance to pretty much everything. The hotel itself is nice, but I thought it was a little overpriced for what it was. The pool area would be better if towels were provided. Overall, worth it for the location.
