Place was intimate and luxurious renovated grand old lady with lots of character. Conference I was attending was in one of those glass towers after being in there all day it was nice to go back to our character hotel.Clean god service only wish the restaurant was open more hours

We booked here because it's claimed to be the most haunted hotel in NOLA. We didn't experience any of that, but it was a fantastic stay. Jerome at the front desk checked us in. Super friendly and informative. He also told us about the unique 10pm service in the lobby of PB&J sandwiches with hot chocolate. This was a super unique and fun part of our stay. Paula at the front desk was also very pleasant and helpful checking out. One complaint was with loud and drunk patrons that the security/desk staff would not address. This was so bad that there was a drunk woman in the men's restroom that, when I asked her to leave, she just shouted profanities. Security did not do anything about this until the same group of people moved to the hallway outside our room to continue their arguments. At that point, security finally stepped in. There was also a lack of professionalism with the valet. We had a flight to catch, but the valet didn't even notice us standing and waiting for him while he stood on the corner looking up and down the street for apparently no reason. We didn't even know he was the valet until we went to the front desk and they called him.

We would still stay here again, likely, because of the unique environment, beautiful lobby and rooms, and proximity to Canal and Bourbon St.
