This stately hotel on Main Street is just steps from Fort Mackinac, the marina and the ferry, providing a convenient location for families wanting to explore the historic island. Two queen or one king suites provide extra living space, mini-fridges and microwaves, TV’s, free Wi-Fi and some balconies. Visit the hotel’s sister hotel, Chippewa Hotel Waterfront, for a dip in the 25-person hot tub and enjoy the waterfront sundeck. Moms may want to sneak some time at the hotel’s Lilac Tree Spa.

Perfect location, luxury appointed rooms

Because of the perfect location, large very nicely appointed rooms, friendly and professional staff, and value prices, we have stayed here multiple times. If rooms are available I can't ever see us staying at any of the other fine hotels on Mackinac Island.

Nice hotel right downtown

This hotel is so convenient because you could walk to anywhere on Mackinaw Island that you liked from here. It's close to shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. but it's relatively quiet. The staff is friendly and there is always free coffee in the lobby!
