This 50-suite resort is combined with a country club, so guests can enjoy the same amenities available to club members like golf, tennis, and a fantastic pool area with an Olympic-style lap pool and a separate kids’ pool complete with pool noodles and kickboards. Suites are available in one or two bedrooms — pro tip, kids love the two-bedroom loft suite — and include small kitchen areas with large mini-fridges and some appliances. Dinner and Sunday brunch is available at the Catalina Dining Room, and breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served every day at the Ventana Bar. Summer visitors can enjoy the free Friday night “Dive-in movies” for children at the pool.

Furniture all broken down and very uncomfortable. Blankets poor quality. Pillows hard and flat. Beds roll to the middle. Door insecure. Tv in bedroom size if computer monitor. Couldn’t see it from the bed. Not the quality for the price.

Great for tennis and golf!

Every time I go to the Lodge at Ventana Canyon, I remember how serene the desert is. The grounds are beautiful, taking a walk up to the Loew's resort or walking around the surrounding neighborhood. The jacuzzi is always welcomed after a long day of tennis. Jonas, the tennis pro, was accommodating to our group. The staff is always smiling and offering to open the doors for you. We did not get a chance to visit Tombstone or the caves this time, but it will be on our list next time!
