Located on the western part of the island, the 80 resort guestrooms and suites feature a mini-fridge, whirlpool tub, microwave and some with a separate living room area. Families will love the indoor pool, free DVD movies and free Wi-Fi, and the Summerside Boardwalk is situated across from the hotel. The onsite restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, is also convenient for families. Children 17 and younger stay for free with parents too.

The staff was very friendly and willing to help with any service I required, whether it was for directions to other sites to visit in Summerside and/or the surrounding areas. I was treated in a very courteous and professional manner.

I absolutely loved my stay at the loyalist. My mom lives in a senior place that is small so I always stay at the loyalist. The staff and everyone is so wonderful. I will definitely be back every spring and summer. The only thing that would be great if they had the pool up and running by the spring. That would make it perfect.Thank you all at the loyalist. See you in the spring.
