Location at the end of Highway 10, steps from downtown Ludington, the S.S. Badger car ferry across Lake Michigan, and directly across the street from the Stearns Park Beach, Jaycees Mini Golf, and the playground at the beach, the Ludington Pier House Motel offers families the only indoor swimming pool and hot tub in downtown. Room options include a pair of queen beds but families will want to book one of the two family rooms featuring two queen beds and one twin bed, with a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker. There is no free breakfast at the motel but guests are provided with a buy one get one free breakfast coupon to a nearby restaurant.

Great location, staff was friendly & helpful, great location. TripAdvisor, on the other hand, gets 1 star at best. They constantly spam you & track you with their cookies. There are much better travel web sites out there than TripAdvisor - use them instead!

Surprising!

Many other hotels were booked for the one night we decided to stay on our way home from Mackinac Island. Another hotel recommended we try the Pier House. It was a great recommendation!
This looks like your typical old time motel and the price was cheap enough that we wondered what it would be like. We were so pleasantly surprised with the quality, cleanliness and comfort of our 2 bed room.
The Pier House is not an exclusive, ritzy location...just a great room at a great price and so near the shore of Lake Michigan and a park. Recommend you check it out.
