Sitting across from Tanani Beach on the Lynn Canal, this family-friendly lodge features cozy cabins that are perfect for a family of four. Each cabin features twin bunk beds and a full bed, plus great amenities like a refrigerator, microwave, DVD player, private porch and BBQ grill. There are common areas in the lodge as well, which creates a friendly, more personal, experience. The views of the water and mountains from the wrap-around deck of the main house are spectacular. It’s also a great place to sit and watch the giant cruise ships making their way to Skagway. The owners also run a car rental service, which is perfect if you’ve arrived on the ferry.

Lynn View Lodge is located 3 miles north of downtown Haines, about a mile south of the Alaska State Ferry terminal. Kids will love the nearby pebble beach for play and exploring. It’s a five-minute drive into town, where you’ll find a variety of shops and restaurants. You’ll also find any number of tour guides there, offering access to hiking, wildlife and glacier adventures.
