Some families appreciate that added edge of elegance, wishing to have a bit more luxury with larger accommodations, far removed from the hustle and bustle of theme parks. At the Marriott Lakeshore Reserve, they find just that.
Marriott’s Lakeshore Reserve in Orlando is the only Marriott timeshare resort co-located with two luxury hotel brands: The JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton. Located on a sprawling setting, the resort lines the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club’s 18-hole championship golf course.
Both the exterior and interior design blend Mediterranean influences, and themed outdoor courtyards create spaces for enjoying nature. Opened in June 2010, the first phase consisted of 85 villas and townhomes, creating a residential feel amongst the towering hotels. While all Marriott timeshare resorts offer a luxurious experience, Marriott’s Lakeshore Reserve boasts an elevated experience with the typical features of a Marriott and more.
Highlights for families include spacious accommodations, resort activities for all ages, several onsite eating options and best of all, a prime location in Orlando.

This place is first class all the way. Best in service Best in amenities and the villas are amazing. You really don’t feel like your at a standard timeshare resort. This property is hands down the best we have stayed at
LOVED the Lakeshore Reserve, beautiful condo within walking distance to the JW Marriott and some incredible restaurants. I think i had the best sushi i have ever eaten at the JW. Very accomodating, nice LARGE rooms and by far the nicest of the Marriott's that Ive been to, they are all nice but this one was truly acceptional. Loved the lazy river pool, lawn games, and "beach" section of the pool. Our room had very upgraded ammenities, they even left us a bottle of wine for our anniversary. Its a great quiet place, probably good for older kids, but doesnt have alot of young kid stuff like some of the other Marriott Vacation Clubs, really nice for our Anniversary weekend.
To cool off from the hot Florida sun, the resort's main, zero-entry pool is ideal for young swimmers; it also has two dueling waterslides and two whirlpool spas.
The resort prepares a weekly schedule of activities for families. Choices might include morning yoga, tie-dying shirts, family Iron Chef, volleyball, board game competitions, nature walks and more. A nice place to enjoy family time is among the tranquil fountains, themed courtyards, covered areas that offer shade off the main resort pool, activity lawns for outside games and the outdoor grilling facilities.
The beach is about an hour away, but makes the perfect day trip. Other nearby activities include horseback riding, tennis, golf, museums, and, of course, Disney World, Universal Studios and the works. The concierge can assist your family in making arrangements.
