4 years in the making. This trip has taken 4 years to come together and it was all worth the wait.

There is something magical about Melia Cayo Santa Maria. It's in the clear blue ocean, the smell in the air, the hugs and kissed from the people who treat you like family from the moment you come in.

I know there are a million places you can travel to in the world but Melia - it just has something more.

I really can't get enough of all the aspects. The food is fantastic in all of the locations; buffet, pool bar, Ranchon. I haven't tried any of the a-la-carte's as I really don't need to. There is always something to eat.

The drinks are plentiful and always flowing and always being served with a smile.

Thank you to the bar team who are so many, I love you all.

The servers, love you so much Yigani, Yuni, Yami Mami - thank you for putting a smile on my face everyday.

The pool bar team...what hard working people.

Last but never least. The entertainment team at Melia. What an exceptional group of people who try their hardest to keep people entertained, even those that woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Your patience with people like that is amazing.
Arel, you have built an amazing team of wonderful people. Thank you. I will miss our coffee time and talks. To the rest of the team, Darbel, Ernesto, Nayibi, Yine, Yovani, Alan, Daniel, Alex and Felipe - thank you for your friendship. It means so very much.

What a great stay at the Melia Cayo Santa Maria! The food was exactly what's expected when you go to Cuba. You can always find something but we would suggest lunch pool side where they do charcoal bbq shishkabob that were very delicious!! Breakfast at the buffet was made by the fabulous Daniel! What an incredible guy who took our stay next level. He really became a friend in the short time there. If you go here you must meet and get to know Daniel, he cooks the eggs at breakfast. The rooms were clean and stocked but again its Cuba so don't set expectations too high. The beach, OMG, like nothing I have ever seen!! Literally a paradise and worth the price alone.
