Nearby to Montgomery, this hotel has a multitude of family appropriate activities. There are a couple of golf courses within several miles well known by golf lovers. Sports fans can enjoy a minor league baseball game at the Montgomery Biscuit’s field, and they can visit one of the local parks for playgrounds, walking trails, and picnic areas. Family members of all ages will enjoy the Montgomery Zoo and the Gayle Planetarium. At the hotel, families will enjoy the free breakfast and the onsite restaurant, Oak Tavern. Guestrooms best for families have two queen beds and can accommodate up to four guests.

Needs some serious work

We had ten people stay for a golf visit at the RTJ Trail. Oak Tavern food and service was very poor and we would not eat there again. Housekeeping service was not up to Marriott standards at all. Glasses not replaced in rooms, things (e.g. hairdryer) that were dirty, heating system that seemed to shut off in the middle of the night leaving you stuffy, etc.

We have stayed at this “ Original” benchmark property over 40 times in the past 20 years. Golf Trips or stop over on way to Destin. This property remains a gem ... it is a great location with a staff that defines Southern Hospitality. Pam checked us in at upon our 10 PM arrival. Very pleasant & helpful as she was last stay on our late check in. Otis / went the extra mile in finding us a great parking spot on late arrival & offering assistance with luggage or any needs. Fantastic location on beautiful golf courses yet the staff is the cornerstone. This property is one of the oldest in Prattville yet remains - number 1.
