Located at Moody Gardens, the Moody Gardens Hotel, Spa & Convention Center features 428 guest rooms, including three suite options. Families will love the variety of dining options, especially the “Kids Eat Free” program, which is open to children 12 and younger and offers one free kid’s meal with each purchase of an adult entree in the Terrace Restaurant. The hotel also offers several packages, specifically an “Explore Moody Gardens” package that includes accommodations and day passes to Moody Gardens.

Great Stay!

The customer service here is unbeatable! Beau (at check-in) was incredibly helpful and friendly. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The pool was a lot of fun and the food was really good. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anybody looking to stay in Galveston, even if they aren't planning on spending all (or any) time at Moody Gardens. This was definitely the highlight of our vacation time in Texas.

Event and Hotel Stay

We recently held a Gala at the hotel and many of our guest stayed over the weekend to enjoy Galveston Island. The event was of the highest quality!! The event room was decorated beautifully, the food was delicious and the waitstaff were professional, friendly and efficient. The rooms/suites are gorgeous!! This is probably one of 5 or 6 events I have hosted or attended at Moody and each of them have been equally impressive. Moody Gardens does Galveston Island proud!! I would highly recommend it to everyone.
