New Orleans Marriot is within walking distance of the renowned French Quarter. The huge hotel is home to more than 1,300 rooms and suites. Rooms feature posh bedding, lavish bath products, high-speed Internet access and views of the Mississippi River. Suites also display a separate bedroom, dining table and living area with a sofa bed. Cribs are available on request. A fashionable lobby hosts a wine bar and a Starbucks, while the award-winning 5 Fifty 5 restaurant serves a stylish sit-down meal with a wood-fired oven. A heated, outdoor pool is on the rooftop and towels are provided for guests. Typically, the hotel offers family packages.

Wonderful Hotel-Great Location

My husband and I visited New Orleans for our 14th wedding anniversary. This hotel was wonderful with it's location and amenities. My husband is titanium with Marriott, so we had access to the M Lounge which made for amazing breakfasts, and delicious evening snacks. Special kudos go to Emily Anderson, in the M Lounge. She was helpful, pleasant, and upon learning of our Anniversary, sent a lovely gift to our room for us to enjoy. Without a doubt we would stay at this location again.

Convenient location in the French Quarter. We should have been informed at check-in about the elevator operation. The elevators operate by selecting your floor before you enter and not after you are in the elevator which was a mistake we made. Our room was clean and spacious except for the bathroom which was very small, not much bigger than the closet.
