Newport Beachside Hotel sits on one of the top beaches between Fort Lauderdale and Miami. A fishing pier is surrounded by the beach and many family-friendly amenities are offered. Newport Beachside welcomes children by providing fun activities, like arcade games, water sports, a pool and a playground. Kitchen 305 presents children’s menus and Ocean Reef Cafe serves a buffet breakfast that even the pickiest eaters can enjoy. The Fun Family Activity Program offers daily events to chase away boredom. One- and two-bedroom suites are perfect for families. They offer private rooms, two televisions and can sleep up to six people. Standard rooms are also available with two full beds, Jacuzzi jet tubs and free wireless Internet. Off the resort, families may want to check out the Miami Sea Aquarium, WannaDo City or Parrot Jungle Island.

Very dirty hotel beach crowded with smokers, non-working elevators/Ice machines, valet lost our car key and accused us of lying about it, TVs never worked despite complaints, smokers in the hallway, etc

The hotel has a lot going on and a lot to offer. The only problem is getting up to your room. The elevators were not working properly and it was a bit of a wait to come and go. The pool area is nice and you can walk right out on the beach. The bar at the pool was nice and the staff were also in good spirits as they made and poured spirits.
