Choice Hotels International Inc. will bring its Ascend Hotel collection into St. Maarten, becoming the 11th hotel in the Caribbean for the corporation.
Alegria will be a 78-room boutique property by Ascend operating on the southern coast of the Dutch island. Adjacent to Maho Beach overlooking Maho Bay, the hotel will be near Princess Juliana International Airport and the capital city of Philipsburg. Room amenities will feature flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and balconies, while the property will feature two pools.
