The beloved children’s storybook character, “Eloise,” turns 60 this year, and her home hotel, The Plaza, is throwing her a “rather marvelous” celebration.
The iconic Plaza Hotel, located near Central Park in New York City, will be running special promotions throughout the summer, including special birthday experiences in the Betsey Johnson-designed Eloise Suite, a special birthday surprise in the Palm Court and events in the Eloise at the Plaza Shop. The official publication birthday is November 4, 2015, and more events and activities will be added leading up to her special date.
