Ride Accessibility Center Debuts at Dollywood

Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee has debuted a calming room, called the Ride Accessibility Center, for children with autism.

The room features a teepee and fiber optic lighting that allows children to relax when experiencing sensory overload.

While Dollywood is the first theme park in the world to offer a calming room, LEGOLAND parks are in the process of designing some, as well.
