Roller Coaster to Open on Ocean City, N.J. Boardwalk

It’s never too early to start planning next year’s summer vacation — especially when a boardwalk roller coaster is on the horizon.

Playland’s Castaway Cove in Ocean City, New Jersey, has announced plans to build a roller coaster. Called GaleForce, the new ride will rise 125 feet above the Ocean City Boardwalk. According to the Ocean City Gazette and Brian Harley, Vice President of Playland’s Castaway Cove, GaleForce will also feature “a 90-degree drop, speeds of 64 mph and seven thrilling elements.”
