Boutique river cruise operator Uniworld has announced a new immersive volunteer cruise experience to take place in India. Partnering with ME to WE, Uniworld is extending its Golden Triangle & the Sacred Ganges cruise to give passengers an immersion program in the Indian countryside.

The five-day extension to the Golden Triangle & the Sacred Ganges cruise will bring passengers to local communities in the Rajasthan region, immersing them into the rural lifestyle, helping to build a new community classroom, digging a new clean water system, participating in traditional crafts, and practicing yoga with locals.

Guests of the extension will be housed in the Araveli Cottages and Tented Camp, which provides private cottages and luxury tents. All meals, ground transfers, transportation and local sightseeing excursions are included.

The new extension is available on remaining 2016, 2017 and 2018 Uniworld Golden Triangle & Sacred Ganges itineraries.
