Water Park Opens in Carlsbad, N.M.

Carlsbad, New Mexico welcomed a water park at Lake Carlsbad Beach Park on July 1.

The park features a 50-foot-high water slide called “Big Blue,” as well as a lazy river, slides, rain tunnel, and lap lanes. Admission is free for children ages 3 and under and adults ages 63 and up, and $5 for everyone else.
