The much-anticipated theme park addition based on the hit movie “Avatar” will open in Orlando in May. “Pandora – The World of Avatar” will open at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on May 27, 2017.
The new 12-acre land is based on the movie “Avatar,” will bioluminescent rainforests, a Mountain Banshee high thrills flying ride, the Na’vi River Journey family river ride, and more. New dining, shops and more will also be available and following the Pandora theme.
The expansion helps transform the safari theme park from a day into a nighttime Disney park with extended entertainment and offerings.
