Located on the central Oregon Coast, this family-owned lodge and spa sits on the cliffs of Yachats overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The lodge offers complimentary fresh breakfast featuring items like cheddar soufflé, apple French toast, fresh fruit, homemade granola and more (dine in the lobby or take breakfast back to your room). There’s also a workout room, pantry with snacks and beverages, free Wi-Fi, walking paths (watch little ones in steep areas), and a full-service spa. For teens and adults, there’s a large soaking tub, sauna, and steam room that’s part of the spa for no extra fee. The lodge offers rooms, some with a kitchenette and dining area, and one or two-bedroom suites with kitchenettes, living rooms, and fireplaces. Rates are based on double occupancy. Small additional charges apply to anyone over age 6. Not far away, there’s the Sea Lion Caves, Oregon Coast Aquarium, and lighthouses, as well as tide pools and beachcombing right in Yachats.

This is the second night of our trip, which started in Portland. The location and ocean room was fabulous. Very spacious with a balcony and beautiful views. Could not beat the great sunset while standing on the rocks. The staff was very hospitable and efficient. A simple "breakfast" included with afternoon snacks offered.

Big room (304) with view of ocean crashing waves on rocks below, fireplace, balcony, excellent bathroom arrangement, clean and warm. Front desk on top of it, very helpful. Got us in early. A decent breakfast (free) plus free wine tasting. A very lovely walk along waterfront right out front. It does go to a beach on north end.
