The mid-range Phoenix Inn is located within walking distance of the University of Oregon (or a 5-minute drive) and offers standard amenities for families. You’ll find a complimentary hot buffet breakfast, indoor pool, hot tub, fitness room, guest laundry and free parking. Extra perks include fresh-baked cookies served nightly and Seattle’s Best coffee.

The hotel offers 95 rooms and suites, including a Double Queen Suite with two queen beds, King Suite (one king bed) and a Family Suite with three beds in combinations of king and queen beds or all king beds. The Family Suite has an adjoining room (no door) for some separation. All the rooms include microwaves and mini-fridges.

Franklin Boulevard is a big, busy street, but it features many restaurants and a Whole Foods market within walking distance of the hotel. Things to do with kids include the Cascades Raptor Center, Skinner’s Butte Park, and in summer, the outdoor Amazon Aquatic Center.

Please refund, I was unable to use room due to teenager in car accident 8 hrs before check in. Applied for cancellation through Booking.com and is in the hands of this great hotel. Have stayed there before and it was wonderful!

Stay was OK

Clean, yet room needed to be maintained. Shower valve was installed backwards - so hot was cold & vice versa. The vanity sink didn't drain well and probably needs to be unclogged. Just basic maintenance needs to be done. The continental breakfast was ok - nothing fancy - would be better if they had cheese on their scrambled eggs or at least offered it.
