TripAdvisor Rating

For a genuine, rural, East Texas experience, your family can’t go wrong with the gorgeous Pine Creek Country Inn. Hidden away on 25 acres of forested land, the Inn features 17 guestrooms situated in several rustic buildings. Ideal for a small family is their Creek House Room No. 1, which contains a king bed and a queen sleeper sofa. A larger family can combine the room with an identical connecting room next door to comfortably sleep up eight people. Each room includes a refrigerator, coffee maker, DVD player, and sitting area. Kids will love the huge outdoor pool, playground, horseshoe pit, and numerous outdoor games available. The Inn also offers archery, skeet-shooting, massage therapy, and pedicures, all at a reasonable cost. On weekdays, a continental breakfast is brought to your room each morning, while a large breakfast buffet is served in the onsite restaurant on weekends.

Pine Creek Country Inn is located about 10 miles west of Nacogdoches. It’s surrounded by trees, ponds, and walking trails. The restaurants and shops of the town are an easy 15-minute drive away, while the picnic and swimming areas of Lake Nacogdoches are only 10 minutes down the road. The Inn has its own onsite restaurant, the Creekside Cafe, which is open for dinner only and serves gourmet French-styled steak and seafood, but has burgers and sandwiches available for picky eaters. The Pine Creek Country Inn is a relaxing place to spend your day, but if you do have to leave, kids will want to check out Millard’s Crossing Historic Village, a collection of old buildings representing East Texas history. After that, a trip to the water slides of Splash Kingdom Water Park makes for a fun summer afternoon. The rural setting and plethora of onsite activities will ensure that the Pine Creek Country Inn is a big hit with your family during your trip to Nacogdoches.

Repeat Customer

As a travel nurse working at Nacogdoches for almost 8 months (since last Nov 2018), I have stayed at Pine Creek almost every week and LOVE IT. The rooms are always clean, the beds so comfortable, the price is good. Every room has a small fridge, and microwaves are available on request. Each room is decorated differently and has different floor plans. I've stayed in all rooms from #1 to #5. No cookie-cutter motel looking rooms here. This has been like my 2nd home. I feel rested and safe. It is very peaceful after long busy nights at work. I love the scenic drive that winds around a cute pond. I always look for the ducks and the cats. BTW--the cats don't cause any problems. They keep their distance even when I want to pet them. The views from the porches are amazing. As my work here will soon be over, I am enjoying this while I can. This place has so much charm. Lisa thank you for being so sweet and always having me a room. I definitely appreciate it. May this lodge be available for others to enjoy for many more years to come! Penny S., RN

Anniversary get away

by sampica09

Wanna get away? This is the place to run to! At night it’s so quite and the stars are so bright. The couple that runs it, wants to make you feel at home. Monday thru Thursday they leave a little basket of breakfast in your room. Saturday and Sunday they have breakfast at the main house. I can’t wait to go back.
