Don't take the shuttle

by Candy P

Flight was cancelled and United gave us a discounted rate voucher for this place. We waited in 14 degree weather for over an hour for the free shuttle. Several others were told the wrong door, wrong side of airport, and was hung up on once when calling for the shuttle. Older room. Clean but not many towels. Shower drain super slow. Get some people together and use Lyft or Uber and split the cost.

Stay anywhere else

There was an electrical outage in the area. After walking down the stairs to the front desk I found the employees casually sitting around the lobby oblivious to the guests wanting to know what happened. As guests were coming in to check in they simply stated "sorry can't help you". There was a complete lack of communication and empathy. The next problem came with a knock on my door at 4:30 AM. Since the phone in the room didn't work they knocked on my door to tell me that my shuttle to the airport was canceled. I needed to get up and go soon if I wanted a ride to the airport. I then was in the bathroom hurrying when I spotted a broken shard of glass on the floor. On the shuttle ride back to get my car (which was parked there) the shuttle driver drove to another hotel which still had room availability because he didn't understand enough English to know that I wanted my car. After numerous calls and emails, I have given up (for the moment) trying to complain. The management will not return calls.
