First of all, there are no real 5 star hotels in Estes Park so let’s not interpret my 4 star rating as anything negative. Checkin - fine. Room - clean & quiet. Dated - okay. Breakfast - we left early. Location - good. Main comment - would I stay there again? Without question.
We selected Quality Inn based upon TripAdvisor reviews and ratings, and also because we have had a good experience at other hotels in the Choice Hotel group. We stayed at Quality Inn, Estes Park on Oct 2, 2019. Our basics requirements are a clean room, firm beds, a good nights sleep and a decent breakfast. We have not always had a good experience at Quality Inns, but Estes Park Quality Inn is the exception. It’s the best Quality Inn we have ever booked and among the best in its category. At check in, we were greeted by a nice man who efficiently checked us in. Our room 458 was large enough for two people. The room’s design was very good. It was furnished with two queen beds, TV, empty mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, desk and chair. There are electrical outlets and USB ports cube on the desk. Logging onto the free internet was simple. The temperature controls on the heating and AC worked well. One could consider this type of heating and cooling noisy, but we turn ours off at night. A major plus that is missing from most hotel rooms is the two folding luggage racks. Two luggage racks per room is a real plus for couples. Our full hot breakfast was excellent. The menu included the usual breads, cereal and juices. And there was also fried and boiled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles and cream beef. The breakfast room was clean and efficiently attended by two hard working people. So what's not to like. I prefer firm beds. My bed was medium soft but we were so tired it didn’t matter. We got a good nights sleep. Choice Hotel has Quality Inn in the middle of its group. For the middle class traveler, or one looking for value, I can definitely recommend this hotel.
