This hotel is in the perfect place to take a family that loves the outdoors. The Cathedral Caverns offers daily tours of its expansive cave system, and younger visitors love the gem mining. Outdoor loving families can head to Lake Guntersville State Park to hike, mountain bike, zipline, fishing, and boating. This park is also the prime Bald Eagle country in the state. The Goose Pond Colony Resort is also nearby and it hosts golfing, fishing, boating, and walking trail. At the hotel, guests can enjoy a free breakfast and an outdoor pool. Guestrooms can accommodate four guests with two included double beds.

Beautiful hotel

Check-in was easy. The room was beautiful. Well-appointed. Breakfast included with eggs toast coffee orange juice. I highly recommend this hotel. The room was clean there were no bugs large flat screen TV plenty of plug-ins for the cell phone lots of lighting spacious bathroom with a tub and hot water

Exterior under construction

Always nice to find a smoking room. No elevator that I know of. Exterior was being worked on. Very good internet speeds at 70 Mbps up! Breakfast was just okay, though a bit on the light side. Very nice pool area. Room looked pretty good. No desk area, though, just a very small table.
