We stayed here on an overnight cruise excursion – if we’d been on our own we’d have likely hightailed it out of there. It was two stars in all ways, from the rug that did not feel clean, to the dark, dreary room to the barely edible food. And the elevators are among the worse, since you literally wait forever to get on (and it’s confusing to boot). If you are choosing to pay to stay – pay and stay someplace else.

Management was notified of some these things, but did nothing:

- One of the (six) bathroom lights flickered like a strobe light until it burned out (and was not replaced).
- Shower leaked onto threshold/rug in entryway.
- Fire (?) alarms went off at 4:00 AM, 4:05, and 4:20, with no explanation. Then again during the evening meal, alarms went off in the dining room.
- Ants! Tiny, itty-bitty baby ants in our first floor room (3 floors above ground level). My friend had big ants in her room on another floor.
- Bedside lamp didn’t work on one side.
- Wallpaper needs a good scrubbing in several areas.
- Toilet takes forever to fill, so it sounds like a running toilet for a very long time.
- No fresh hand towels or face cloths today, though the used ones were picked up. Housekeeping do dn’t wipe down the sink or replace the bathroom glasses or paper coasters. Left lights on on room.
- Today was the first day we had liners in trash cans (our 4th night here).
- Elevators are excruciatingly slow (7-minutes one time!) but that’s not unusual for Israel. I will say the elevators are much larger (8-12 people) than elevators in other hotels we stayed in.
- Tonight: Loud music outside, with a constant drum beat. (Probably not associated with the hotel.). Thank goodness for ear plugs.
- Several times / days I called the operator to ask for a wake up call or information, and there was no answer.

I’m giving them a “3” because of the excellent dining — amazing assortment of tasty food (buffet - local foods and “western” foods) and excellent wait staff.
