This large resort-style hotel, which sits on 14 acres of land, offers a lot of space for families. Guests are greeted with the high ceiling atrium that makes the space feel quite large and guestrooms with both interior and exterior entrances make life convenient in this pet-friendly hotel. The spacious suites can easily accommodate families of five or more and the complimentary Wi-Fi keeps everyone connected while traveling.
There is plenty of outdoor space for kids to run and play. There is a playground area, basketball and volleyball courts and large grassy areas to just run. The indoor pool and game room are great for rainy days and the onsite restaurant serves a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The 242 guestrooms and suites feature both interior and exterior entrances. A mini-fridge and microwave can be found in each room. Cribs, connecting rooms and rollaway beds are available upon request.
The guestrooms feature a king or two double beds, a small sitting area with a sleeper sofa and a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a flat screen television.
The spacious suites can accommodate up to six people with two double beds or a king bed and a sleeper sofa in a separate living room area with a microwave and mini-fridge. The king suites feature two sleeper sofas. A table for four and two televisions can be found in the suites, which also offer both an interior and an exterior entrance.

The hotel could be awesome, but there was no pride. It was not taken care of: lights out, sticky floors, not swept, cigarette buds liter walkways. The best thing about this hotel was Karen Jones the breakfast cook. She was for sure a diamond in the rough. Put her in charge of this hotel and it would no doubt get turned around. She has customer service, a clean restaurant, and she made sure every guest was happy. Thanks Karen
Combination basketball and tennis courts can be found in a large outdoor space in the rear of the hotel, along with a grassy volleyball court. There is a large outdoor picnic area with tables and chairs and lots of grass to run around and play.
A small playground with swings and a slide can be found within the hotel's courtyard.
The large indoor pool, with a depth ranging from 3 to 5 feet, is heated and is surrounded by several lounge chairs and tables with chairs. An outdoor patio is situated directly outside the pool as well with more table and chairs and the lounge bar is nearby. The pool is open from about 7 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and pool towels are provided. Restrooms can also be found within the pool area.
An arcade game room can be found in the atrium with several arcade games and air hockey. The game room is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The game room is a few short steps away from the pool.
Bistro Du Cayenne
The onsite restaurant serves a delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cook-to-order breakfast runs from about 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. and offers items like omelets and waffles. Then a buffet lunch is available and the dinner menu runs from about 5 to 9:30 p.m.

Lafayette Regional Airport is about 10 minutes away from the hotel. Baton Rouge Metroppolitan Airport is located about one hour away from the hotel and the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is located about two hours away.
The hotel is large but parking surrounds the hotel and parking directly outside your exterior room entrance is available. A vehicle is needed when staying here.

Just off the restaurant area in the large atrium, adults can find a large, full service bar area. It's the perfect spot for the adults to windown for the evening. Tables and chairs surround the bar, which overlooks the pool, and is open from 4 to 11 p.m.
