I guess this one was not as bad as I expected, based on the reviews. My room was relatively clean and the staff friendly enough. The property needs a LOT of TLC; carpet needs replacing, painting needs to be done, etc. There also seem to be some long-term residents and an element of criminality. Not a terrible place, but there are better options in the area.

We needed to have our room cards reset each and every time we returned to the motel, the room carpeting was stained and bumpy and therefore questioneable for cleanliness, and blackened our socks,
the fire alarm went off twice the 2nd night we were there, the noise level was extremely loud and disruptive the last night we were there, the trash at back door was overfull and odorous, and the surrounding property was strewn with cigarette butts and trash that didn't fit in the container. It appeared this motel is the local hangout for neighborhood thugs.

We appreciated the $50 discount we received, credited back to my card. Appreciated Dave's attitude.
