Tucked away in the mountains of Idaho this genuine dude ranch resort offers families a traditional western experience. Set on 300,000 acres, this resort features a variety of family accommodations, amenities and activities for all.

Choose from several lodging options ranging from one-bedroom suites to four-bedroom log cabins. Each accommodations offer families private bathrooms, spacious bedrooms and private decks with gorgeous views of the ranch.

Kids will never tire with the vast selection of family activities available. Take a self-guided tour, or go fishing, whitewater rafting, mountain biking or horseback riding. Family horseback rides are available in the afternoon as well as morning rides at the kids’ program. The children’s program for ages 6 to 11 also offers kayaking, bike rides, swimming and much more for your little cowboys and cowgirls!

Amazing place, amazing people and amazing 80th birthday celebration

We celebrated my dad Art’s 80th birthday at Red Horse during an adult only week in September. It was an unforgettable week and we had a wonderful time making new friends and lifelong memories. Rob and Ashley set the tone as Managers and created a warm, relaxing and comfortable environment. The staff was amazing- Joe, little Trixie, Texas Jonah, Andie, Sarah and everyone else! They were very accommodating and made the week so very special The activities were a blast and we were all able to participate in everything offered despite our ages from 53 to 80!???? We connected with staff and guests and by the end of the week, we had tears in our eyes saying goodbye. The scenery is stunning and the week will always hold a special place in our hearts! Highly recommend!!!

We had the BEST time at RHMR! Everything was top notch. Amazing food, accommodations, staff and activities. We are going to go again next year. I agree 100% + with the reviews by The1wildbunch and Vblakey. I thank them for saying everything I would say! Go for a week and enjoy.
