The Renaissance, near the Arboretum at Great Hills Mall, is surrounded by nature trails, yet offers easy proximity to Downtown Austin, the airport, and the pedestrian-friendly outdoor Domain Shopping Center, just a few minutes away. There’s a nine-story atrium, oversized rooms, indoor and outdoor pools and plenty of upscale amenities. Your pet will be ensconced in the lap of luxury, too. The Knotty Deck & Bar has a terrific outdoor deck where you can enjoy Texas-style American cuisine and cozy up around the fire pit. There’s also @Austinbytes cyber café with gourmet coffees, fresh baked pastries, made-to-order pizzas and sandwiches. Both are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
There are special Marriott Rewards Member rates and you can use points earned at other Marriott and Starwood properties. The guestrooms have been recently renovated and there are regularly scheduled performances by local musicians.
Check-in time is 4 p.m., with check-out at 11 a.m.

We stayed here during the F1 US Grand Prix. It's located approx 20-30 min from COTA. The rooms a big and always kept clean. The entire property is very clean. Everyone at the hotel is always nice and very helpful.
I love this hotel. Whenever I am in Austin for business, about 2-4 times a year, this is my go-to hotel. It is located in the Arboretum area with plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The staff is ALWAYS helpful and kind. This is such a beautiful hotel, especially around Christmas time. I usually try to request a room that faces the Atrium. I really enjoy sitting in the hotel's restaurant, The Knotty Grill drinking a glass of my favorite red wine and eating a delicious cheeseburger while watching the people and maybe a football game that is on the TV. I highly recommend this hotel; such a great place.
