Renaissance New Orleans Pere Marquette Hotel is a nice place for families with kids to stay. This hotel is just around the corner from the Audubon Zoo, Preservation Hall and New Orleans City Park. A few other attractions include the Old New Orleans Rum Distillery and Audubon Park. The 4-star hotel has 275 guestrooms, a swimming pool, fitness center, nearby golf course and tennis courts. Renaissance New Orleans Pere Marquette Hotel dining options include room service and onsite restaurant. Martinique Bistro, Atchafalaya and Le Croissant d’Or are all kid-friendly restaurants that are also worth looking at and are near the hotel.

Nicer than expected

Some reviews here had been negative so we were a little unsure but trip package had this as an option and we took it anyway. Room was spacious, bathroom large and with a real shower (not shower/tub combo). Clean and good service. Location decent to access everything we wanted to see by walking. Only negative was the Tacklebox restaurant, which had wonderful service but marginal food.

Very comfortable hotel with a nice restaurant, staff were excellent, and William at the front door was exceptionally helpful in pointing us to great cafes and restaurants daily for breakfast lunch and dinner!
