My favorite hotel when I visit Springfield!! The availability of the hotel when I booked only offered one king bed with a sofa sleeper. I'm starting to think the staff is getting to know me as I stay at this hotel a few times a year visiting my son. They switched me to a one bedroom with two beds.
This was absolutely fabulous as another mom came with me. The renovation is absolutely stunning. Just a great job! Can't wait to stay again! Thank you.

P.S. They serve raspberry yogurt for breakfast. Delicious!

This was our second stay there within about a month time frame. The previous stay in July was basically without any problems whatsoever. This time, the moment we checked into the recently totally remodeled room, we went out on the balcony and were instantly swarmed by deadly wasps. From there it went down hill! The bedroom window base frame had a large build-up of nasty BLACK deadly mold, the bathroom toilet paper roll holder wasn't attached to the wall, the TV remote wouldn't work, there was a large build-up of nasty mud on the walls of the balcony from other wasps nests and/or from birds nests would have been, we were promised courtesy "free" on-sight baked cookies when we checked in (as was the case with our July visit there) yet, they NEVER made the cookies that afternoon/evening, the pool area security camera was removed as they simply just had exposed bare wires and a mounting bracket in it's place, the property only has ONE Ice Machine for the guests on sight with well over 100 rooms and we were also promised a courtesy evening meal on the Wednesday we checked in yet, all they had was some stale/nasty old crackers and some topping spread. I will say though in the "plus column" that their morning breakfast was very good and there is a large selection to choose from with the free courtesy breakfast. After this last visit, we don't plan to ever stay there again! I suggest that you check-out the images included below.
