Truly enjoyed this property for many reasons. Great location, spacious room (large corner king), great staff and service. The free breakfast buffet provided more than the usual Residence Inn, so was nice option for saving some $$ to spend elsewhere.
I would say it is a quieter option for New York City, but still expect some noise. It comes with the territory.
Near train station, Lexington and 51st, but you can certainly get to a lot by just walking.
The staff was very helpful and accommodating which made for a great trip.

I spent a whole week staying at this hotel while attending the UN meetings. This is a perfect place to choose for NY midtown. Close to subways and several attractions. The best thing here is the services. I would like to express my appreciation toward Ms. Carlos Claudia. Every morning during breakfast, her nice manner and thoughtful service impressed me very much! hope that this review would encourage her to continue her good work in the future!
Like many city hotels, the Residence Inn does not offer family amenities or programs. Instead, it provides a home-like environment for families who spend their time enjoying the city's attractions and events.
When it's time for a break from the action, head to Hearth, the hotel's living room-like area in the lobby. It has newspapers, televisions, and comfortable places to lounge.
The hotel does not offer an all-day restaurant but does serve a complimentary hot breakfast daily.
The hotel also accepts restaurant delivery for in-room dining with a room service menu offered from noon to 10:30 p.m.
In the lobby, a small sundries shop offers snacks and meals that can be made quickly in the room.
