Located at the base of Kachina Peak, this is a true German eatery. The hearty meals are perfect for mid-day refueling and the sunny deck is an ideal spot for a break in activity. From Wienerschnitzel to burgers, salads and sandwiches, this is one of the more famous eateries in the valley. During winter lunch begins at 11:30 a.m., apres ski snacks at 3 p.m. and dinner at 5:30 p.m. Summer hours are almost identical; however lunch continues until 4:30 p.m. Dinner reservations are highly recommended and a complimentary dinner shuttle is available from the base of Taos Ski Valley.
